Fixed subscription
We understand a "fixed subscription" as one whose price does not vary throughout the billing period.
- Example: Health insurance that costs €50 per month.
To set up a recurring plan from the platform, you need to provide the following information:
Plan Type
Select the Subscription option to generate a recurring payment.
Name
This is the name that will be displayed to customers at the time of payment. It's important to choose a clear and descriptive name that helps customers easily identify the plan.
Plan Description
This section refers to a brief explanation or summary of the plan you are offering. It provides details about what the plan includes, its features, benefits, and any relevant information that helps customers understand what they are getting by subscribing to the plan.
Price Mode
After completing the name and description of the plan, we select the price modality "fixed price". Then we fill in the following variables:
- Price: Total amount (including VAT) to be charged to the customer during each billing period
Periodicity
Periodicity refers to the frequency at which the payment will recur. It determines how often the customer will be charged for the service. Select one of the following options: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annually, Annually.
-
Billing Day: If selecting monthly periodicity, the system will give you the option to select the day of the month on which you want to charge.
-
Enrollment Day The charge will be made every month on the same day the customer enrolled. For example, if the customer enrolls on January 12th, the full amount will be charged on that day. Subsequently, the monthly fee will be charged every 12th of the month.
-
Other Day: You can select the preferred day of the month to make the charge to the accounts of subscribed customers. If you choose the 5th of each month, the monthly charges will always be made on the 5th. If the customer subscribes on a different day, for example, the 20th, the system will charge the proportional part from the 20th to the 5th of the following month. Subsequently, charges will always be made on the 5th.
ExpirationHere you can configure whether you want charges to occur indefinitely or if you prefer the subscription to have an end date.
- No expiration: A recurring charge that is debited from the customer's account periodically while enjoying the service. For example, payment for a private health insurance that costs €50 per month. Once the payment stops, the customer cannot access consultations and benefits of this health insurance.
- With expiration: Recurrent charging of an amount over a specified period of time. For example, the installment payment of a master's degree costing €7000. In this case, it would be a subscription of €700 with monthly periodicity and 10 billing cycles.
Be careful with the periodicity and the number of cycles. In the case of setting 10 cycles with daily periodicity, the amount would be charged for 10 consecutive days. If it is periodicity
